Puddles

For FHE one night back in March, we decided to take the kids out puddle jumping. I just love children - I love how they teach us to enjoy the little things, to see the silver lining. I love spending time with my little family!

Nola's 4th birthday!

I may be 5 months behind, but here are some pic's from Nola's 4th birthday party! She asked Auntie Nickie to make her a Hello Kitty birthday cake, so we went with that for a theme. As always, she was spoiled! She had so much fun with her family, cousins and friends.

9 month stat!

Weight: 18 lbs 9 oz

Clothing: 9 month

Teeth : two on the bottom, and two on the top

Milestones/What's new:
- standing unassisted
- clapping
- waving
- signing 'more'

Loves:
- eating. He eats like a monster!!! Anything and everything. I have yet to find something he does not like.
- getting into things. He is so darn busy! He loves to try to climb over top things, like the speakers, and get at the cords.
- his fingers. He is still a loyal finger sucker :) He gets a blister on his pointer finger every once in a while.
- Nola and Robbie. He just adores his siblings. I think the best smiles he has goes to them.
- talking. BA BA BA BA!!! Haha, its so cute.
- smiling. Honest, this baby is always wearing a smile.

Mommy loves:
- everything flippin' thing about this child! When he wakes in the morning, with a big grin and giggles. Feeding him nbreakfats in his high-chair - clapping, laughing and signing more. Snuggling him down for his nap with a bottle in the rocking chair. Chasing him around the living room. Helping him walk (he is so darn close!) Comforting him when he falls. Everything :)

Feb 2014 favs!

No TV? No problem!

This is what happens when you take little ones to Value Village after you haven't had a TV in your home for a couple months...

8 month stat!!!

Weight: 17 lbs 10 oz! He is gaining weight like a champ! My big boy :)

Clothing: 6, 6-12 month

Diapers: medium CB's, size 3 disposables

Teeth : two on the bottom, and one trying to make its way through on the top

Milestones/What's new:
- climbs the stairs - May 28th
- pulling himself up to standing - May 28th
- syllables! 'Ma-ma', 'Da-da', 'Ba-ba'.


Loves:
- getting into things. Honest, he is EVERYWHERE!!! His favourite place is under the table, so he can eat any scraps that fall to the ground. I call him Hoover :)
- pulling himself up to standing. He will hold onto anything and try to pull himself up. He has excellent balance. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts standing unassisted in the near future.
- Nola and Robbie. He can watch them ALL. DAY. LONG. He has the biggest and brightest smiles for him. Robbie has recently taken a shining to John and he is just loving it.
- going for walks, wether in the ERGO or stroller. He's happy to be out observing the world.
- eating. My oh my, does this boy have an appetite. And he is not picky at all - if he can eat it, he is happy.

Mommy loves:
- watching him explore. This is such an amazing age - everything is new and exciting. When he grabs something, he turns it around in his hands to observe every part of it, puts it in his mouth, whacks it on the ground and stares at it again - you can just see those little wheels turning.
- bedtime/naptime snuggles.
- those big, blue, doe eyes, his wild 'Einstein' hair and his little toothy smile!
- Nola giving him his bottle. She always asks to feed him and its just beautiful.

7 month stat

Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz

Clothing: 6 month

Diapers: size 3

Teeth : two on the bottom!

Milestones/What's new:
- he's a crawler - May 16th
- he got his first tooth - May 8th
- Sat up unassisted - May 14th
