Weight: 12 lbs 0 oz 10th percentile

Height: 24 1/4 inches 40th percentile

Clothing: 0-3 month

Diapers: 3 snaps in on one side, 2 snaps on the other for size 1 applecheeks. ( I am assuming a size 2 disposable)

Teeth : None

Loves:
- cooing. He has SO many stories to tell. He seems to be really close to laughing too. Can't wait for that!
- sitting up. He is crazy strong. If he is reclined, he will pull himself up to sitting.
- standing. If he is not sitting on your lap, he is standing :)
- nursing. He gives me lots of milky smiles. I LOVE THEM!!
- Nola. I bet he thinks she hung the moon :)

Dislikes:
- being startled. Serious, he will flash the biggest pout and then cry the saddest cry!

Mommy loves:
- hearing his stories. His coo's are just too cute.
- nursing him, especially before bed. We have a nice long rock and snuggle. He is dead weight when I lay him in his bassinette :)
- watching him and Nola. She cannot wait for John to wake up each morning. She coo's at him and calls him 'John John'. It's amazing to watch!
- his cute, cloth diapered bum :)

I swear, they don't make 'em any better than my John John. Love you little guy!

Nov 2013 favs :)

I have to explain this picture. Nola was eating an apple at Grandmas house and Robbie kept eyeing it up. As soon as Nola put it down and walked away, Robbie ran over, grabbed it, ran and hid around the corner and ate it. It was hilarious!
Robbie went down for nap, and fell asleep holding the bottom of the door. He slept like this for over 2 hours!

A name and a blessing

On Sunday, Jan 5, our sweet baby John was blessed. My dear friend, Christi, wrote the blessing out for us again (she did the same when Rob was blessed) Here it is:

We bless you to know how much you are loved and how excited everyone is to have you in the family and in our home. You bring happiness into our home already with your smiles and your cheerfulness. We bless you that you will keep that cheerfulness and remain happy and positive. Your happy attitude will help to lift others. You will have a desire to search for others who need your help and care. You are blessed with a love and desire to help others gain an appreciation of the Gospel. We bless you to grow strong and healthy and to know that there are so many people who love you. We bless you to look up to the example of your brother, your sister, your parents and grandparents, your cousins, aunts and uncles. We bless you to learn from them, for they are good people. We bless you to know that your Father in Heaven is real. You will gain a testimony of Him and have a relationship with Him and with your Savior, and you will know that He died for you. We leave this blessing with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

What a special gift - to be able to see a glimpse of who John is, and who he will become. I pray for him, that he may be able to reach his divine potential. We love you John!
