Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was picture perfect! Doug and I woke up before Nola, so we had a few minutes to gather ourselves and get set up. Soon after, my Mom and Dad showed up, then Uncle AJ and Auntie Sarah. It was so cute - AJ just loves Nola, so he came into the room when she was waking up. She is a so sweet when she wakes up - all disoriented and confused, but once she clues in that Mommy, Daddy, or in this case, Uncle AJ, are there, her face lights up and she's all smiles.

Nola got TONS of gifts!! We let her open about 5 presents. If she would have opened them all, we would have been doing it for days! She got sooo many wonderful things. Her favorites so far are her stroller from GG, her elephant from Uncle AJ and Auntie Sarah, her bike from Grandma and Grandpa Sedrovic, her walker from Grandma and Grandpa Walton and all her new books from Mommy, Daddy and her Aunties!

Auntie Jodi, Uncle Ryan, Gabe and Isaac came to visit in the afternoon. As always, it was great to see them!! An the kids were

Here are a lot of pictures. I know they are out of order, however I realized that after I uploaded them, and there are too many to do again.

Enjoy!!!

Nola, along with the rest of us, really missed her GG this Christmas. She was glad she was able to talk to her on the phone!

Christmas Eve

This year, we spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Sedrovic Family. It was wonderful, although it was very odd not having Nola's GG around (she is spending the winter with her Hunny in Arizona). Even though GG was not around, we kept up with our usual traditions. Each and every Christmas Eve, we order Chinese food from a local restaurant, Ginger Beef. It is AMAZING!! After completely stuffing ourselves, Doug, Nola and I went to visit some very special friends - Kim and Ray - at their Christmas Eve celebrations. I love love love Christmas Eve!!

Nola was eyeing up Grampa's Chinese food pretty hard!

It's coming...

Being Nola's first Christmas, I took about eighty millions photos. So, be patient. I'll get posts organized and up as soon as I can!!

Thanks!!

Santa baby

This week, Nola got to meet Santa Claus! I took her to the mall and had to wait over half a hour to get their picture, but it was well worth it. Nola doesn't play shy, she never really has. She went to Santa just fine and was quite perplexed by his beard. I am glad we got a picture of her looking at the camera AND smiling!!
Ain't she cute??
Merry Christmas!!

Our little snow bunny

A few weeks ago, I decided to take Nola out for a walk in the snow. Our roads weren't plowed, so I thought I would bundle in her snow suit and put her in her snugli. At first, she seemed to be enjoying herself, but once we were walking into the wind, it was another story. She didn't last too long in the snugli, she just wanted to be packed. I didn't get any pics of us outside, but here are some of her rosy cheeks once we got in!
