And for any of those who may have noticed, yes I now have two new nephews named Remy!! Cola and Dallin call Remington Remy :) So cute!

Robbie's faces
Robbie and I like to play the 'faces' game. We give each other emotions - happy, tired, angry, bored, cranky, etc. and we have to make faces for them. Here are some cute ones of Duff.

Mommy Daughter night
Last night, Nola and I went on a mommy daughter night. We didn't have any money and I was worried she would not be satisfied since we wouldn't be able to buy anything, but you know what that little darling did?!? She packed each of us an apple and a juice box in her Hello Kitty lunch tin and we went to the mall. Her plans were well thought out - 1st, drive to the mall. 2nd,walk around the mall and look in stores. ONLY look though, because we don't have any moneys. 3rd, find a table to have our snacks.
It was so wonderful! We held hands, jumped, skipped, chatted and laughed. We look at books, jewelry and she was in heaven at Clairs! She said she was ready for her snack, so we went to find a table. She was way too sweet - picking a table, climbing up, opening her tin and sharing the snack. She had spilled a little of her juice so I went to grab some napkins, but she insisted that she could do it. All by her self, she went to New York fries and timidly asked the man who worked there if she could have a napkin. He gave her a little stack and she said 'thank you!' and ran back to our table. I couldn't believe what I saw! It was one of those moments when you realize how grown up your baby is. She is going to be 5 in one month!! I really am so proud of her. How blessed I am to be her mother :)

Christmas Day and Boxing Day
On Christmas Day, we stopped by Nicole and Dallin's for a quick visit with the Walton's and then headed over to my mom and dad's for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It was fun - nice and relaxing. Dougie had to work boxing day, but he made it back in the evening to have a big supper. AJ and Sarah came out on boxing day too. We all were totally spoiled, as always.
Christmas Morning
For the first time ever, we were home for Christmas morning. It was PERFECT!!!
Even before going out to see the Christmas tree and stockings, the kids came into bed with Doug and I and we had a nice long snuggle. Once John was awake, we all went into the living room to check things out. The kids were so excited to see that Santa ate the cookies they left out and drank the milk. As you can see form the pictures, John helped 'clean up' Santa's left overs! Haha, he grabbed the cookie crumbs as fast as he could and tried to get the last drops of milk from the cup.
We had a beautifully modest Christmas this year. Doug and I fill one another's stockings with gifts and that's all we get from one another. We have a $50 limit, so we really do get a lot! This year I got a new rolling pin, some tea and a new spoon rest. Doug got a new Incubus t-shirt and a work survival kit. The kids get stockings filled with treats from the dollar store. We also allow the children to shop for one another and their grandparents at the dollar store. This may be my FAVOOURITE part of the holidays. We allow them to pick whatever they want, even if it is totally ridiculous! Papa got a little branch with a bell on it from Robbie this year and GG got a sucker. Oh, its too funny.
Doug and I decided to just buy one gift this year for all three kids. We bought them the Fischer Price nativity and they all loved it! It was so nice to just have a couple gifts to open and enjoy together.
For breakfast we had waffles with chocolate fondue. It was crazy delicious! John even licked the chocolate off of his highchair tray!
It was the most perfect morning of my life. I love being with my family.
