One evening after FHE at the park, we were walking home and noticed that the sun was about to set. We quickly ran into the house, got the kiddos dressed in warm Jammie's, grabbed some blankets and went and sat on the hill overlooking the highway. We had a few minutes before the sun went down, so we played eye spy with the different cars that passed. Once the sun started to set, everyone went quiet and watched in awe.
It was beautiful.
Everything was beautiful.
There really are no adequate word to describe how it felt, wrapped up in that blanket with my children and husband, watching earths beautiful enfolding before us, feeling of the love we have for each other and for the Savior. This very well may be one of the best nights of my life.
How truly grateful I am for my family.
