Skating!

Over the Christmas Holidays, Nicole, Doug and I took the kids skating. It was the first time skating for both Eva and Nola and they were so excited! Nicole brought her skates and Doug and I hoped to rent some from the arena however the person who rents skates didn't show up, so Doug and I had to go on the ice in our sneakers :(

Nola loved skating! The whole time we were there she yelled "Skating!! Mommy, it's skating!" When we were leaving, she kept running back to the doors, trying to get back in. What is currently working for Nola in those situations is to tell her to say 'bye-bye' to wherever we are leaving. The whole ride home she waved out the window, repeating 'Bye-bye, skating!'

Skating was hard on Robbie too. He spent the whole time bundled up in his car seat, sleeping. It's so hard to be a baby ;)
