For the last couple years, Doug and I have bought gingerbread men kits to decorate with the kids. This year I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and make the cookies. I made holiday sugar cookies and boy are they yummy! Not that I really want to admit this, but these are the first cookies I have ever made from scratch! They turned out great, although I did have to make a couple calls to my mother in law for advice (Thanks Mama!!) The kids and I baked the cookies during the day and then we decorated this for FHE.
I LOVE spending time with my little family. Yay for cookies!!!
